The block has finally ended! Woohoo no more board cutting and rubbish sculpting! Hooray to 3 hour lessons everyday starting from Monday. I do hope i'll do fine in digital essentials though...
I can do it. Haha.

Oh yes. I stayed till 4AM to finish up my Visual presentation homework. The next morning i went to school to show Phek Gek my finished work.
And she told me to redo cos it dosen't fit the bassignment requirements.

At first I was so pissed! But thank God for people who cheered me on and guided me along. Thanks Zhiying, Yt and Lays especially!
Like what Jiasheng told me.. This is only the begginning of the design industry & she is already being nice compared to the lecturers his brother got from laselle.
So i stayed in school till 9 plus to finish the redo copy.
This is a lesson learnt. Perseverence.

And i love my class cos i found friends instead of classmates. awww...

Though it's a miracle by itself, something amazing happened in class today.
I put my sculpture on display beside Dan's. We placed them infront of the black divider cos it makes the sculptures stand out.


I went downstairs to print stuff and when i returned, Lays they all told me that the board had toppled and fell on Dan's piece.



Missed mine by a few cm, abt 5 cm?

Dan's one could be fixed back but if it crashed onto my piece, i can kiss my grades, money & everyone's effort goodbye.

I miss yuan:(

I was feeling rather patriotic after watching abit of the national day parade on the bus.

The walk to my grandma's place is quiet and peaceful. Thinking that there was nobody, I started humming Kit Chan's "Home(?)" quite loudly all the way to the lift lobby.

Then i realised that the guy who was around the corner waiting for the lift heard everything.

Well, if i had a voice like Christina Aguilera of course i would just smile sheepishly and stop.

But the sad thing is, I don't....
I went out of tune!

Dang.

Anyway, I feel bad saying this but
I CAN'T HELP BUT LAUGH WHEN I SEE THE THEME SONG FOR THIS YEAR BEING PLAYED ON TV.
It's so ridiculously funny! though i'm sure they didn't intend it to be.
People wearing construction suits and helmets running towards another crowd emerging from a kampung to sing hand in hand with hip-hop businessmen in smartsuits
is just too much.

Loved the fireworks though. When all else fails, fireworks will always save the day:)
